Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin or Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, MVVM architecture).
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and tools such as Retrofit, Hilt, or Jetpack Components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) or Java.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDKs, Jetpack components, and Android Studio.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Familiarity with mobile architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
  • Hands-on experience with third-party libraries and tools like Retrofit, Glide, and Firebase.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Room, SQLite).
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Fastlane or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of hybrid frameworks like Flutter or KMM.
  • Experience in publishing apps on Google Play Store.
