Responsibilities

  • Design and Execute Tests: Create and implement test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Plan and Coordinate: Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities efficiently.
  • Regression Testing: Perform thorough testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Automation Scripts: Develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Evaluate Processes: Continuously assess and improve the testing process.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with developers and product managers to identify requirements.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis to define project scope and schedule, and enforce QA standards.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in code reviews and retrospectives to improve overall processes.
  • Test Plans: Develop comprehensive test plans that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest testing tools and strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and automation testing at a software firm.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex problems and implement process improvements.
  • Mobile App Testing: Experience in testing Android & iOS applications.
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, preferably Cypress.
  • API Testing: Proficiency in API testing.
  • Ownership: Take responsibility for your work and strive for continuous improvement.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps concepts and methodologies.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to report test results clearly.
